Day Fee: $150 per Horse
Fees are incurred for every day the horse resides at the show grounds, whether or not it is showing. Ship-in and Ship-out days also incur a Day Fee
Includes Training and Grooming. If there are more than two horses attending a competition, additional staff will attend the show to assist with grooming and coaching.
Grooms' responsibilities include loading and unloading horses and equipment to and from the show, setting up the show stalls, daily feeding, watering, and stall cleaning, and assisting in grooming, tacking, bathing, and removing braids.
Accommodation
Exhibitors are responsible for Trainers' and Grooms' hotel rooms, and Grooms' meals
Lease Fee: $100 per day
If you choose to take a DDR horse to a competition
Shipping: $300-$700 Round-Trip
Depending on location of show, and how many horses are being shipped
Long Island Shows
Day Fee: $150 per Horse
Includes Training and Grooming. If there are more than two horses attending a competition, additional staff will attend to assist with grooming and coaching.
Training includes overseeing proper preparation of horse and rider for competition, longing or riding the horse if necessary, coaching riders in the warm-up and competition rings.
Grooms' responsibilities include loading and unloading horses and equipment to and from the show, setting up the show stalls, watering the horses, assisting in grooming, tacking, bathing, and removing braids.
Lease Fee: $50 per Horse
If you choose to take a DDR horse to a competition
Shipping: $120-$200
Depending on location of show, shipping to the Hamptons is generally more expensive
